Stress Busters: Balanced Nutrition

Balanced Nutrition

Stress can affect appetite, and what and how you eat can affect stress. Eating more fruit, vegetables, and whole grains is associated with improved health. Paying attention to your body and what you’re eating and why you’re eating it are great first steps towards balanced nutrition.

Try to eat regular meals at a relaxed pace.

  • Create a calm space to sit and enjoy your food.
  • Try to include a variety of whole grains, fruits and vegetables with meals and snacks.
  • Go easy on sugar, alcohol and highly processed foods.
