Welcome to Policy and Advocacy

Incorporating PACEs science into policy and legislation is a key way to make meaningful, long-lasting, and impactful change. These efforts can support prevention of ACEs, promotion of positive childhood experience (PCEs), and healing from ACEs. This section contains resources developed by PACEs Connection as well as by partners in the positive and adverse childhood experiences (PACEs) movement. It includes information on state and federal legislation, toolkits on how to get involved in advocacy, and briefs on ACEs-related policy issues. Information is organized into the following categories:

PACEs Connection also has two communities on our site related to state and national advocacy. All members of PACEs Connection can join one or both of these communities.

  • State ACEs Action is the go-to place for developments in advocacy in the states.

  • Resilience USA is the place to find information about national advocacy and contribute what you or your state or local ACEs initiative are doing.
